The Consulate General of Canada in Detroit has engaged with True North Logistics to offer Canadian businesses a one-day training session on how to do business with the U.S. government and U.S. Military.
The purpose of this seminar is to help Canadian companies overcome the challenges of winning U.S. government contracts.
The seminar will set to rest many of the myths and misconceptions about doing business with the U.S. Government and will allow participants to walk away with the tools and resources to find and win opportunities.
Plus! True North will also be available for individual consultations following the seminars, to address any concern or questions concerning the subject.

Major General Bradley M Lott, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret) is CEO and Owner of True North Logistics, a consulting firm in St. Clair Michigan that's primary focus is on assisting Michigan businesses in Defense and Homeland Security contracting. In his most previous position he served as Executive Director of the Defense Contract Coordination Center, a division under the State of Michigan's economic development arm, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. His charge was to lead the DC3 to successfully capture more federal spend in Michigan, matching Michigan companies with defense and homeland security opportunities.
Rosanne Oliverserves as the Capture Director and Chief Operating Officer for True North Logistics. She brings with her 17 years of government contracting and economic development experience. Rosanne's most recent position was as the Capture Team Manager Michigan Defense Contract Coordination Center where she led a team of Defense Contract Capture Specialists to go after and Capture Defense Contracts for the State of Michigan. This included Prime Contracting, Subcontracting, Contract Management Training and Supply Chain Management.
Eleanor Holland currently serves as a Capture Specialist for True North Logistics. Previous to her position with True North Logistics, Eleanor served as the Director of the Office of Small Business Programs at Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) since 2003. DSCC is DoD's Supply Chain Manager for the consumable parts used on Land and Maritime Weapon Systems. This includes over 2 million items for vehicles, guns, ships, missiles and electronic spare parts. DSCC award contracts annually in excess of $3 billion with more than 60% going to small business.
Gina McKillop serves as True North Logistics Technical Assistant/Special Project Manager. Before joining the True North Logistics team, Gina spent the last 8 years in the Real Estate and Mortgage Industry where she worked with a vast number of clients. This has allowed her to learn many valuable skills on giving excellent service with honesty and integrity while making customer satisfaction her number one goal. She brings a wealth of knowledge related to event coordinating, office management, and client communications. These skills provide a perfect foundation for working with all of our clients here at True North.
