Partnering with Business is Part of Ontario’s Economic Plan

Ontario's comprehensive economic plan includes partnering with business to create new manufacturing jobs.

Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Employment Dr. Eric Hoskins met today in Windsor with business leaders and other partners to discuss Ontario's plan to create jobs, and to announce a new partnership with a Windsor-Essex area business.

With $1.5 million in support from the province's Southwestern Ontario Development Fund, CapsCanada Corporation is renovating its Tecumseh facility, creating 34 jobs and retaining 63 more. CapsCanada is a leading provider of capsules for use in the pharmaceutical and health nutrition industries. Funding will help the company install new equipment and expand its vegetable capsule production line to meet demand from the health nutrition and pharmaceutical industries around the world.
