Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Student Chapter in Canada

Monday, May 11, 2020

It's been almost a year for the first Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Student Chapter in Canada at the University of Windsor and the chapter has grown so much. Recently, the Chapter has been recognized in both Canada and United States with the  “Student Chapter of the Year” award for 2019-2020 academic year.

The WiCyS Windsor has now decided to pivot into a worldwide environment with a partnership with Mossé Cybersecurity Institute from Melbourne, Australia who will be providing a platform for Cyber Education to our Cyber Lancers.

Benjamin Moosé who is the CEO of Mossé Security would be offering two programs for free:
    - This will provide to the Women in WiCyS, Computer Science, and Windsor with the Cybersecurity Technical Skills
    - There has been a request to access to the internship for the male population in WiCyS Windsor
    - VCT is a great opportunity for students to get real life experience in Cybersecurity while in University
    - This is a free-lancing/co-op platform that offers worldwide work opportunities to students and professionals
There will be a live interview with Benjamin Mossé where he will introduce these platforms in-depth on May 13th, 2020 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
If your interested in learning more about this partnership or if this something useful for your organization, please join the live event.
