Belle Van is an associate in the Litigation and Technology Groups at Goodmans. She has a wealth of knowledge in the area of intellectual property law. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, including patent and trademark disputes. Belle has handled cases involving all aspects of patent litigation and has played an integral role on several leading patent law cases in Canada with a high success rate. Belle advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law. Belle also advises on regulatory compliance, including the production, sale and health and safety requirements of regulated products in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and consumer goods industries. Belle has appeared before the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining Goodmans, Belle worked in the health care industry in the field of nuclear medicine.
