Windsor-Essex, ON September 27, 2019 – On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the Windsor Transportation Club (WTC), along with support from its Corporate Partners, the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation and Workforce WindsorEssex, will be hosting the Southwestern Ontario Transportation Career Fair at the Institute for Border Logistics and Security at 3475 Wheelton Drive in Windsor, Ontario from 10 AM to 3 PM.

The Transportation and Warehousing Sector is an important economic driver for Southwestern Ontario.  In the Windsor-Essex Region, the transportation and warehousing sector is made up of 2,800 businesses, employing 8,100 workers.  The Southwestern Ontario Transportation Career Fair will provide a unique opportunity to link transportation companies with qualified and interested workers while providing excellent networking opportunities for all.

Exhibit space is sold out.  Attendees have the opportunity to visit and connect with some of Southwestern Ontario’s leading transportation companies: Onfreight Logistics, Verspeeten, Wolverine, Warren Gibson Limited, Etlas, Autobahn, Martin Transportation Systems, Challenger, Morrice, SM Freight, Penske, Fulger, Waste Connections, Spartan Freight, Mucci Farms, National Truck League, and Topline.

In addition, attendees will be able to view the newest trucks on the road, thanks to global-leading trucking manufacturers: Volvo and Mack.

Attendees looking for employment in the transportation sector are encouraged to bring their resumes.
