Recruiting High Skilled Temporary Foreign Workers

A message from WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation's (WEEDC) Business Development Team.
WEEDC in partnership with the Government of Canada and Government of Ontario are hosting a seminar on information relating to recruiting high-skilled temporary foreign workers.
The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development,Trade and Employment will provide an overview of the corporate immigration advisory services offered by the Province to support employers in their recruitment of high-skilled temporary foreign workers.
The Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration will provide information on the Opportunities Ontario: Provincial Nominee Program, which is a permanent residency program administered by the Province.
Service Canada will provide an overview of the Federal Temporary Foreign Worker Program. Information will include modernization initiatives and how Labour Market opinion applications are processed.  Citizenship and Immigration Canada will provide an overview of business visitors, work permits and permanent residency options.
When: March 26, 2013 from 8:AM to 11:30AM (First speaker begins at 8:30am)

Cost to attend: This event is complimentary, courtesy of the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment but space is limited and registration is required. First come, first served basis. Breakfast will be provided.
Who should attend: Employers interested in hiring and retaining foreign workers to fill positions affected by skilled labour shortages.
