Windsor-Essex County, Ontario, Canada - Tuesday, June 20, 2017– The WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation (WE EDC) held its 2016 Annual General Meeting today at the Fogolar Furlan Club in Windsor, Ontario.  Over 150 people attended representing stakeholders, funders, government officials and business leaders from the Windsor-Essex region.

Martin Komsa, Board Chair of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation said, “Two short years ago I committed that the Board would establish core objectives within the themes of Regional Economic Development, Openness and Transparency and Preparing the Organization for Future Success. I am pleased and proud to say that under the strategic direction of the Board and leadership team we have accomplished all of the things we committed to establish. As I step down from the Board, I welcome and congratulate Warden, Tom Bain as the new Board Chair and congratulate the WE EDC staff for their dedication to the region and acknowledge and extend my appreciation to The City of Windsor and County of Essex for their continued support.”
