When Windsor’s new Audi store opens its doors next fall, it will boast features never before seen in a dealership in the city, Chris Leavens, president of Leavens Automotive Group, said Monday.

Leavens announced the location of the 22,000-square-foot store as he unveiled the 2017 Audi Q7 —luxury nameplate’s redesigned entry in the SUV market. “It’s brand new from the ground up,” Leavens said of the second-generation, seven-passenger vehicle.

The store, to be located at 10982 Tecumseh Rd. E., will be “an Audi terminal concept; a very cutting-edge style of building with the latest technology available in the industry,” said Leavens, adding that details will be revealed at the opening. “It will enable us to not only sell cars in a unique, friendly environment but to service them.”

The new store is expected to hire between 16 and 20 people, he added.
