OCE's TalentEdge Internship Program now open to post-secondary students
Friday, May 15, 2015
Ontario Centres of Excellence TalentEdge Internship Program (TIP) is now open to college and university final-year undergraduate students from across all disciplines and all areas of specialization.
TalentEdge is designed to give the province's students real-world experience and the chance to apply their knowledge and leading-edge expertise to industry problems. It also provides an opportunity for participating companies to gain the benefit of the leading-edge skills and knowledge of our college and university students as well as research and development capacity.
Placements can be either company or campus-based and all placements must be project-based and have an R&D component (where R&D is defined by the discipline, and is inclusive of non-STEM disciplines). All projects must include at least one investing industry partner that meets the required cash and in-kind contributions.
It is anticipated that all 50 TIP applications for final-year undergraduate internships will be awarded by Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Please note: All other applications to this program, including current graduate students and recent Masters graduates, are accepted at any time.
Managed by OCE on behalf of the Government of Ontario, TalentEdge is a key component of Ontario's Youth Jobs Strategy.
