New housing starts in the Windsor area are expected to continue rising over the next five years, according to a new report by the Conference Board of Canada.
The Windsor Census Metropolitan Area was among eight CMAs expected to generate short and long-term positive growth, the conference board said. Windsor also was among five CMAs with the biggest year-over-year increases, the report said. “Windsor is one of the few CMAs in the up and up quadrant,” said Jane McIntyre, senior economist at the conference board.
Multiple starts, such as condominiums, appear to be fueling Windsor’s new homes market, added McIntyre. [Read More]
