Windsor-based international customs broker Farrow Logistics announced that it had acquired Cavalier International Air-Sea Freight Ltd., an established logistics services provider in the Greater Toronto Area.
It is expected that the acquisition — Farrow’s 17th since 1984 — will increase Farrow’s level of service in the logistics business.
Cavalier was established in 1992 and operates a full range of third-party logistics services.
It is a member of World Cargo Alliance and the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association.
“The services Cavalier brings to the table will complement those Farrow offs its clients, and we’re anxious for the opportunity to add another service to our mix,” Chairman and CEO Richard Farrow said.
Clients Cavalier currently services include airlines Air Canada, British Airlines, Emirates, Etihad and Lufthansa as well as shipping lines Happag Lloyd, MSC, Maersk and Safmarine.
In time, Cavalier will be rebranded to Farrow International, the Freight Forwarding division of Farrow.
