Scientists and field workers are taking a fine-toothed comb to the land around Windsor’s airport before construction can begin on a new solar farm.
Dillon Consulting project manager Bruce McAllister said on Thursday the process is entering it’s third phase around specific areas on the Windsor International Airport site, where the Samsung will built it’s 400-acre, 50-megawatt solar capturing plant.
“They’ve been out there over the past month actually doing field work,” McAllister said. “There’s actually numerous types of field work studies going on.”
