The CEO of the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation expects to branch out to new markets in 2014.

After six months with the corporation Sandra Pupatello says she has a firm handle on the message and story of the development corporation.

She says often files take many years to develop.  “I feel like we’ve been building these building blocks for some time and we’re starting to perfect that.  I do believe that we can’t necessarily land everything we want but we sure can try.  It’s going to be a year of having many many more irons in the fire and we’ll have our year on the ground in different ways.”

She says even with the closure of Heinz on the horizon she feels hopeful the region will see job growth in 2014.
