Wanted: Student Entrepreneur Competitors

The Windsor Star/Dave Hall

Enactus Canada, a student-run organization at universities across the country, is seeking nominations for its annual national student entrepreneur competition.

Co-sponsored by the John Dobson Foundation, the competition provides an opportunity for young business leaders to network with like minded students, showcase their business to top executives and leading entrepreneurs and accelerate the growth of their business.

Nominations will be accepted at enactus.ca until Nov. 22. The competition is open to full-time students at Canadian universities or colleges who are running their own businesses.

Twelve provincial champions will be named in January prior to their participation in regional competitions in Calgary, Halifax and Toronto. Regional champions will then move on to the national finals April 28-30 in Calgary.

The champion receives a $10,000 cash prize and earns a spot in a global competition.
