Caesars Windsor ranked No. 1 travel and leisure employer in Canada

Caesars Windsor has been named Canada’s best travel and leisure employer by Forbes magazine.
The casino operation also ranked 46th out of all employers in the magazine’s 2017 listing of Canada’s Best Employers.
“It is an honour to be recognized on a national level as one of Canada’s best employers,” Caesars Entertainment regional presidentKevin Laforet said in a Caesars news release on Wednesday. “This award celebrates our talented and dedicated employees who work towards our vision to create memorable experiences, personalized rewards and delight every guest, every team member, every time.”
Forbes compiles the rankings with the use of a questionnaire filled out anonymously by employees of 8,000 large Canadian companies. They’re asked how strongly they’d recommend their employer to someone else and their opinions on other employers in the same field.
In the news release, Caesars Windsor says it supports its employees through training and development and encourages them to contribute to the community. It has a volunteer program called Helping Employees Reach Out.Last year employees devoted a total of 4,600 volunteer hours at more than 70 HERO events.
