[Media Advisory] Canada Makes: Additive Manufacturing Forum and Tour at PTooling
WINDSOR – Together Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, PTooling and WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation will be hosting Canada Makes: Additive Manufacturing Forum and Tour at PTooling on April 27th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Featuring presentations from international additive manufacturing experts, Dr Gregory Hyatt, Senior Vice President and Chief technical Officer at DMG MORI Advance Solutions Inc. and Matthias Kuehnelt from Hoedtke GmbH & Co. KG. PTooling President Marv Fiebig will also share his experiences and best practices in additive manufacturing.
The event will provide the opportunity to see game-changing additive manufacturing (3D printing) technology in action. PTooling is the first manufacturer in North America to install DMG MORI’s Lasertech 65 3D. This new technology allows a faster production of complex geometries and individual 3D parts, not possible with conventional manufacturing processes.
