Largest FIRST Robotics Lego League Tournament

The largest ever FIRST Robotics Lego League (FLL) tournament in Windsor-Essex will take place the weekend of December 5-6th at St. Clair College.

City and County grade school students from 33 teams - a regional record - will participate in the weekend tournament.

Just three years ago, there were only two FLL teams competing in the region. Today there are 33 teams.

"There is such tremendous demand from parents, teachers and students for LEGO robotics that we can see that number doubling," says Yvonne Pilon, President and CEO of WEtech Alliance. "And that's great news for a region whose economic prosperity depends on our ability to cultivate the next generation of engineers, entrepreneurs and skilled workers".
