Local Food and Beverage Processors Participate in Canada’s Premier Grocery & Specialty Food Show in Toronto

Windsor-Essex County, Ontario – Thursday, September 24, 2015 - The WindsorEssex Economic Development he e ’ f beverage processors to showcase their products at the 2015 Grocery Innovations Canada Tradeshow taking place on September 28th and 29th at the Toronto Congress Centre. The Development Corporation is facilitating 4 Windsor-Essex based companies to connect face-to-face with key grocery retailers. The following companies will be participating and exhibiting: Lakeside Packing, Highline Mushrooms, Lakeside Produce and Dainty Rice.
Grocery Innovations Canada http://cfig.ca/grocery-innovations-canada/ is the premier grocery & specialty food show in the country. With over 65,000 sq.ft. of dedicated pavilions focused on the specialty food categories that are presently in high demand, including health and wellness, gourmet/artisanal, organic and local, this increased focus is pivotal in bringing out a great number of specialty retailers.
Rakesh Naidu, CEO (Interim) of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation said, “We are very pleased to provide this opportunity to our region’s food and beverage processors. With independent grocers representing approximately 30% of this sector, it offers a great opportunity for our businesses to get their products in front of key National and International buyers at the show.”
