Town of Kingsville launches community website: MyKingsville.ca
Kingsville, Ontario – “MYKingsville” is coming of age and stepping into a new domain. In hopes of keeping up with today’s world where information is king and instant information is power, the Town of Kingsville is excited to launch its new community website: www.MYKingsville.ca
Aimed at simplifying searches for local events, for local shops, restaurants, services and manufacturers, MYKingsville.ca offers a modern day information website that is searchable by business name, type of business, and keywords.
“MYKingsville is that new dynamic and responsive website that showcases the number of great local events and directory of businesses that are located right here in Canada’s Most Southern Town,” Kingsville Mayor Nelson Santos said. “It allows our community, our businesses, and our visitors to be a single click away from finding all of the great things that Kingsville and its surrounding attractions have to offer.”
Over the past two years and through the Town’s strategic planning process, there was an identified need through community consultation that the community was looking for a one-stop location where all of the information about local businesses, local events and festivals could be found. Today, this amazing community input has resulted in MYKingsville.ca. Through the collaborative efforts of Council and Staff members along with focused efforts from our IT Department, Tourism Development and our Kingsville BIA, this new website promises to offer impressive insight into what can found in Kingsville.
“As part of the important role we see this website playing, it will be vital to continue to have participation from our public and our business community to ensure the information we have online is fresh and accurate,” added Mayor Santos. “That’s why there is Contact form on this site that invites our service clubs, not-for-profit agencies, business owners and the community to send us key information on the website, make updates, add new businesses, and send us new photos and notices of their special events. Our goal is to make this site just as dynamic and evolving as our community is and MYKingsville will be the place to go to.”
A live demonstration of the new website will take place on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre (28 Division Street South), Kingsville, ON. The media and public are invited to attend.
