Windsor-Essex County, Ontario, - Wednesday, April 29, 2015 - Today over 75 local manufacturers filled the Augustus Ballroom at Caesars Windsor for the Windsor-Essex Manufacturers’ Supplier Day Event hosted by the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation.
The Supplier Day Event featured three major companies ABB, Siemens and SNC-Lavalin all international in scope and with multiple divisions that require suppliers. Their work spans infrastructure, industrial, power, nuclear, robotics and more.
The morning was spent hearing from senior procurement representatives from ABB, Siemens and SNC - Lavalin. Windsor-Essex companies with processes that fit the needs of ABB, Seimens and SNC Lavalin were selected for one-on-one meetings in the afternoon portion of the event.
